How can I control all of the spiders that are making webs and a home out of my coop?

Why do you want to get rid of spiders? Spiders are one of the best predators of flies around chickens you can have. What kind of spiders do you have in your coop?

Im not really sure some are small some are bigger. They just seem to make their webs all over my nest boxes and my chicks should start laying in a week or so. Is it ok?

The spiders that are in the nest box will be removed. Only spiders that say up and out the way will manage to survive.

I have become a bit of an expert of pulling spiders out of their webs and letting them hang on by a strand, and then carrying them over to my chicks. The chicks immediately see the spider dangling and gobble it up. I've successfully brought a few out from the house to the coop dangling on the silk haha. But I agree with Jaxon that spiders are great predators for flies as long as they aren't in the nest boxes, I just seem to have an overabundance so they might as well be a snack as well as a good predator.
