Converting a dog/goat pen to chicken coop

We have a 10x6x6 dog pen with 2 doors that I will be converting into a chicken pen. Both dogs and goats were in the pen, but that was more than 2 years ago. I heard someone say that I need to treat the ground, if the pen isn't moved, to make sure there are no worms or other parasites that could infect the chickens. Has anyone heard about this? Is there any need to be concerned about this? Any steps I can take to prepare the pen to be pest/parasite free?

It's Probably fine. Sometimes people think so much about this and get paranoid over everything like how I used to be. Just use it.
