We're in a bit of a pickle.... see... I like to collect chickens!

Seriously though, my husband is out rescuing a hen with her 15 chicks from the side of the road. We're going to try to find their owner and will keep baby and mama in a quarentine pen we have. But its barely 2'x2' and a little box inside for nesting, nothing special for long term keeping. I have a dog house my dog WILL NOT use after all these years and looking for suggestions on converting it if we were to keep her for a long term pet ourselves. I do not have room in my silkie coop or mixed bantam coop... they're reached there max capacity with the new chicks we have now (9 total, looking for homes for 4 of them now as its too much).

Any links to picture and materials of converted dog houses would be great! I'm very 'visual' with things like that.

P.s. - Its a WOOD dog house.
