I have this steel angle frame that was supposed to be a dog kennel that never made it there. I’m thinking of converting it to a coop. I’ll probably use sheet metal to wrap all the sides and doors, put advantec flooring in and paint it, put an angled sheetmetal roof with venting, add roost bars and an auto door. This will be for my fully free range flock. It is 8’x8’ and 5’ tall.

I could never understand metal chicken coops.. if you want to cook a chicken in summer why not just do it in the kitchen or on the BBQ 🤣

Yeah...and I wouldn't do a metal coop where I live because I don't want to find my chickens frozen to the coop walls!
