Very nice coop aart! I need to recheck those walls after a serious rain. We just replaced that roof and water had been pooling inside, but I do need to verify dryness for sure.

I use one of our horse stalls occasionally when we are out of coop space or as a transition place for juveniles. Our stalls have rubber mats (4x6 stall mats). I just put shavings on top...it is easy to clean and doesn't mess up the floor below. Vinyl flooring, shower tub membrane or anything like that would work as well

I'd watch the roof run off..got pic of the outside there, showing roof and ground?

No, but it's on a slope. Might need a little earth moving but we've got tons of that to do this spring anyway, and my husband likes to play with the payloader. :)

BTW KSH1, where in NE Ohio...I grew up in Chardon. (I don't miss the snow.)
We're in Claridon (Chardon mailing address)! Good point about stall mats; then I wouldn't feel like I had to bed as deeply. I'm not worried about protecting the floors; just the birds.

A little landscaping to direct roof run off away from bottom of wall could work....
...Or a gutter.

Do that before putting down stall mat or you'll just grown mold under mats.
