I just had someone call me and ask if she could buy some chicks from me for egg layers...
As the convo goes on and she's asking me all sort of ?'s on how many they should get, and what they are eating, and if their coop is big enough, etc. etc. she tells me that her Uncle bought 6 BO and Marans chicks from me last year and raves about our farm to everyone that they were the best egg layers he's ever bought and so healthy, how helpful we were getting him started out, and nice people and on and on. I immeadiately remembered the guy and recalled him by name which she was impressed with and so was I because I sell alot and I don't know how I remembered it!
I was so tickled! I haven't ever heard back from anyone who bought from us so to hear that we were reccomended was so sweet!
It was a happy moment and I also sold the first of meat birds today that I raised for someone other than myself and the customer was so thrilled with the finished products (12 of them) that she ordered 30 more from the next batch on the spot.
