Looks like it would make a good chicken guillotine upon closing!

Very cool door for a contemporary home but impracticable and inefficient to replace the standard wood door with hinges (especially exterior doors that need weather stripping at the door jamb). Not only that but take a look at most of the doors in your home. Most all are designed to open into a wall halfway at a 90 degree angle to optimize space. The "guillotine door" will not work unless it has plenty of wall space next to the door. Oh... and then there is the issue of kids getting there clothes or fingers caught in the slicers. Yikes!

It seems a little scary to me. I wouldn't let the neighbor kids take care of the chickens if I had a door like this.. Too much could go wrong it seems!
