Cool Eggs...are They Done

I went away for a few days and had 3 eggs under my broody. Bonnie has been sitting on these eggs since 6/27 and when I came home and checked on the girls, she was sitting on another nest and her eggs were cool. I imediately put her eggs back under her and she accepted them. I don't know how long they were cool. Do you think they are done? I will candle them today to see if there is any movement.

they are probably fine.. go ahead and candle them.. but in all honesty I don't think it hurt them any.. may have just slowed development a bit

My broody was on the wrong nest for a few hours last week. I've candled recently and the chicks are still growing right on schedule!

Thanks Tiss. As far as I can tell, there is still development. I am not good at the candle or flashlight thing. I can only hope for the best.
