Cool new gadgets for Christmas

Have you come across anything cool? I was looking for a Christmas present for someone and came upon a thread of the latest gadgets for 2026. Wow, some things I never knew about!

A remote control for your phone camera that's only $5.59 at Amazon.

Or who knew leaf blowers could be a small as a blow dryer? A different model on Amazon is $42.

This is pricey at $115, but look at this little thing! We can print a picture from our cellphone on sticky back paper!

I would love this, a "smart" coffee mug that keeps your coffee hot. But, I'm not going to pay $139 for it!

Any cool new finds you've seen out there?

So you set your phone on something, stand back, then click it? I'm assuming this helps avoid the selfies with people's arms stretched out in the picture.

I think it probably would… probably will try it out for that!
I used it for stop motion.

For that price, I'm getting one for myself and a couple for gifts. My dad is 86, and he, for one, would love this!

I'd be careful with those. Oftentimes they don't work as advertised or barely function.

My phone has the option where you can have it identify your palm and it'll start a stop watch to take the photo.

My Note 9 has the pen with the remote button on it. If you have a S24 Ultra or older you have that button.

The smart coffee cup sounds like one of those! I'm a huge coffee drinker at my desk, and it always goes cold before it's half gone so I'd think something like that would be cool. I surely wouldn't pay that kind of money for it though!

There are good ones out there, as far as I know. If it's from FJSAPOUFNOIUEWANFPOUEWA or NVODSANEOI or something like that, it probably isn't that great. I haven't done research on them though, but I'd assume some youtuber out there has a video on them. For me, a useful product I can rely on is worth spending for quality.
