I was thinking of putting a cooling air evaporator in the coop or at the door of the coop. I have a well-protected coop run that is predator proof so I could leave one of the doors open of the coop(Double doors, coop is 4X6)I think it should set out in the coop run facing the door so the pine shavings inside the coop don't get to wet. I know it will be damp and I'll have to change the pine shavings so it doesn't get moldy inside. After thinking more about it, I thought I could put a shelf on the inside door of the coop and I could leave it open or close it.
Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks

Could you run a ceiling fan far out of reach of your birds. Moving air always feels cooler.

It doesn't have to be set on high. We have ceiling fans in all bedrooms & kitchen. It especially makes a difference at night. Air conditioning just makes me feel chilled but uncomfortable.
