Coop almost done!!

This coop has been a labor of love and SO fun to build. My husband helped me with the base and walls. I did the rest by myself and I am OBSESSED! I added my cute chicken garden filled with all the herbs and marigolds my chickies could want!

Nice build. Not sure where your located, but you might consider changing the chicken wire to HC. Rats, weasel, mice will walk through it, and coons will rip it apart easily. I see your fenced in, but so am I and critters just don't respect fences, even with 3 large dogs keeping a eye on thighs.
Also, what's on the other side of the fence? Did you dig down and add some HC to prevent digging? Critters can dig under the fence and have easy access to everything.
Not trying to knock your beautiful build, just want you to be aware of the potential issues. Loosing chickens sucks.

Thanks!! I live in an area where there aren’t a lot of threats. Yes, I did dig down for protection. And my neighbor on the other side dug down a solid metal thing because she didn’t want my chickens digging under the fence. we will for sure keep an eye on things. There’s a lot of coops in my neighborhood that don’t have the runs enclosed at the top. Ours will be. Fingers crossed!
