Coop almost finished. Got my first egg today! **Pics**

Yippie, congrats on the 1st egg, cool chicken house and I see not once, but a few times its been christened! Chicken poo on the perches! I've found that chickens are like teenagers, they don't care what the inside looks like as long as you keep the food coming!

It is now residing in my belly.

Maybe you could find a small piece of rubber like 1/4 inch thick to cover the hinged part. Just tack that on at an angle and it should help keep out most rain!
