The coop has been done for quite awhile. My Dad and I put the run together on sunday and today I put the hinges and locks on the door. All by myself
Which I think is pretty awesome considering I had no help and don't use power tools often.
Anyways this is where my pictures can be found... http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/album.php?aid=2051393&id=1118221359
I would post them all but there is way too many to post. There is also pictures of my pheasants in there too.
As for the escapee I happened to come out to check on them at a good time. I had figured that Lucy, who has taken over mom duty, had led everyone inside but when I got to counting I couldn't find Gloria my littlest chick anywhere. But I heard a soft peeping and found her with only her head showing back behind the shed. I had a little panic moment because I haven't had much time to get her to really like me. So I ran in the house not sure why... and was yelling that she had escaped... Which mom had a little minor freak out seeing as Gloria was the chick she picked out and named. Luckily when we ran back out there Persilla had walked out of the coop and was calling Gloria and Gloria came running out from behind the shed and at the point I caught her and they are all safely back in the coop. I then found the spot that I didn't get covered with bird netting and fixed it. One little opening in the far back under the coop and the little booger found it. Luckily I found her.
