I have nine week old girls. Barred Rock, Welsummer, Buff, RIR, Araucana, Gold Laced Wyandotte, Silver Laced Wyandotte, and Australorp. I've never had chickens before but it's been a lot of fun so far. The kids love them.

Here are pictures of what the inside looks like. I used rubber sheating used for concrete foundations on the walls for easy clean up. I also used rubber roof coating for the floor and its awesome. I setup a 5 gallon water cooler jug drink station with poultry nipples. I have a sewer clean out on the top of the jug so I just have to unscrew the plug and add water. I also love the treadle feeder. Very functional and I started the girls on it when they were chicks so they aren't afraid of it. I also made two chicken swings out of deck composite spindels I had left over. Hope these pics help someone as many ideas I got came from BYC members.

Southern Indiana. We get all the seasons but none are usually that extreme.
