I'm brand new to keeping chickens and DIY! I bought a coop with attached run and painted it, then bought a child's playhouse and painted that. I've joined the 2 with aviary panels to form a run.
The idea is that the chooks will use the playhouse and run on rainy days, and the whole garden (paved with raised beds to scratch around in) on nicer days when someone is home to keep an eye out.
Have I gone overboard?! Will they hate having too much in there or is it better to have lots to do/sit on/play with?
They haven't used it yet as they went broody and the chicks are only 3 days old, but I want them to enjoy is asap.
It's not very professional but it's safe. Will be for 3 bantams and 2 chicks for now.
