coop and run

I use a suncast shed, and a 10x10 dog kennel for the run.
I have 6 hens. Does this sound like its alright?

Greetings from Kansas leabag1, and ! Great to have you with us. With 10 sq. ft. per bird necessary for the run, you are good to go there. Coop space should be about 4 sq. ft. per bird. Not sure how big your shed is. Best wishes and have fun with your flock.

Unless the shed has ventilation (mainly around the roof) you will have to add it yourself.

Glad you joined the flock! That sounds about right yes. Just make sure you have enough ventilation, nest boxes (at least 3 to prevent traffic jams) and make it predator proof and you're good to go.

Hello there, and welcome to Backyard chickens! You have gotten great advice from everybody there. @sumi is right about the nesting boxes but I do have 7 nesting boxes, yet my hens only ever use one.
