Re: weasels. I am particularly interested because we now seem to have a visiting one in the chicken pasture. Our pasture is really a large fenced area - not predator proof. The coop in the pasture is Ft Knox.

Weasels can easily go under the electric fence and fit through the chainlink. Rats and snakes as well.

Are there weasels or mink where you are? That run would not be predator proof where I live.

No, I live in Vero Beach Florida. Found a rat once so far but he could not get into the little coop run.

Keeping the door open will prevent overcrowding & increase ventilation. Its important to do regular maintenance on the coop & run to assure they remain predator proof.

Dog kennel is 20 x 20 and predator proof.

Predators can get inside a chain link dog kennel unless they're covered in hardware cloth top to bottom.
