Chickens naturally want the highest spot to roost. I think the top of the coop is the highest spot. If you want them inside, block off access to where they are roosting. If it is ok for them to be out, don't worry about it.

That coop looks small for the amount of birds you have.

There's 2 levels both levels have 2 nesting boxes and there's 3 bantams and 1 regular chicken who's only slightly bigger than the bantams... so you think that's small? My nghbrs have 6 chickens and a rooster and they are huge and they all sleep inside her coop and it's only slightly bigger. But she has raised them from chick. I got mine as pullets so idk
