Coop "Baseboard"

Vinyl flooring glued down. Now, how high ought be my interior baseboard? 1x6, 1x 8?

In planning the baseboard, consider that all the debris, wood shavings, poop, and such will collect on the upper edge. If it sticks out,it will get dirty.

I had not thought of that.

Maybe no baseboard necessary, or use quarter round?

Why put anything there if the vinyl is glued down?
