has anyone had a coop from this place? Comfy Chicken Coops. I just don't know what to do. Don't have much money for a coop, I have 4 full size pullets about eight weeks old. Live in zone 6 how thick do the walls need to be?

A: You haven't allowed any time for people to answer.

B: search for 'Comfy Chicken Coops reviews" if you are feeling impatient.

C: IMO the cheapest per foot option is to get a shed from somewhere local. Either a pre built one or even cheaper a kit. Put it on dirt with a skirt, or a concrete pad. Add a roost and nest boxes, a run and a pop door, or just open the 'human' door and let the free range. You can get a 6X8 coop and after the chicken math happens and you have 12 hens you will still be good.

I’m new to the chicken world but here’s my opinion based on my research.
It looks like the coops on their web site are the cheap, imports. I have yet to find a really good review.
They are made of very thin material. A lot of people are having trouble getting the pieces to fit together,
and several complaints of shipping damage. You get the ideal.
My suggestion would be look local (several on Craigslist in my area) or DIY.
I went the DIY route myself and so far I have around $500 into a 4x6 coop with 6x12 run, all fully enclosed with hardware cloth (pictures to come)

I found a local person on CL that built coops cheaper than if I purchased the materials myself! He owned a small construction company and did this on the side for extra cash.
400

Thank you, Craigslist has nothing in my area. I also couldn't find much feedback on the coop either. I'll keep looking. Thank you for your help.
