Ok so obviously I would clean the area up and trim back the overgrown tree-bush thing.. but any design thoughts for making a coop out of this area? I'm thinking 2-3 bantams since the space is limited. Is it possible? I just really want chickens. Any advice/ideas are welcome! Thanks.

It's adjacent to our home, no windows. It's about 6' deep and 8' at the widest spot but not a rectangle as you can see.

Well it is a pretty small space and looks triangular in shape(?) so I'll assume it's roughly 24 sq ft? Probably could fit 2, maybe 3 bantams, but you'll need to be pretty clever in maximizing space because that's really a pretty minimal space to work with.

There's no run off from roofs on the structures?

Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

Thanks all for the input. I'm starting to think a quail hutch would be a better idea for this area. I'll put the chickens on hold until maybe I get a place with more land someday 🥺
