Coop camera lens = dust magnet

I don't get much dust, but every so often I do get a cobweb. A little mist of lemon water, or vinegar water on the housing stops spiders for awhile.

Would you be willing to share the brand of camera and the set up you have, can you watch remotely on a smartphone ?
I'd love to set one of these up
thx

We use a GoodBaby baby monitor. You do need an electric outlet in the coop area for the camera unit. It does not require wifi, and we can't stream on the internet. So you can only view from the mother unit. It has night vision and a temperature sensor. (In theory, you can sing to your chickens from the mother unit, but we never try that, it'll probably spook them out!) Mother unit can run on battery up to 10 hours.

Our house is about 75-100ft away from the coop, and I can carry the mother unit all around the house without reception problem (except for the basement). The furthest point is probably near 160ft from the coop.

The monitor can accept up to 4 camera units. I've just purchased a second camera. I plan to install it in the run.

We have the cheap version of the brand, it's even cheaper now:

My only complaint of the monitor is that it's very loud - the wind, the egg songs, their clucking, pecking on the waterer's nipple, neighbor's dog (mind you, they are several hundred yards away) it picks up every sound - there is no way to turn the volume down. If I am on a conference call, I'll have to turn the monitor off.
