Coop close to fence more or less dangerous to predators?

Purchased the coop and run and are preparing the area for placement. The plan is to have the coop close to our 6 foot stockade fence (just enough space for me to go back there and retrieve eggs). But now I wonder if having it that close to a wooden tall fence makes it easier for other critters to get to my chicks, or more difficult? It really is the best configuration for the yard but not if it's risky. Thanks in advance.
