Poultry moms contest!
Ends March 20th (Spring!)

Entries allowed: 2

Enter a maximum of two pictures of your most adorable, dedicated poultry moms! All types of poultry are welcome. Your pictures can be from 2025 or this year.

Whether your broody is all puffed up in the nesting box or strutting around the yard with all her babies, this contest has a place for her! I thought that since Spring will be coming up next month, this is a good time to run a contest related to baby poultry.

• I do not have any criteria for judging photos- just whatever one calls to me.
• There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Even though this is supposed to be solely a fun contest, I will also follow the 1st place winner.

Please include the name of the mother shown, and the date.

She is an Appenzeller Spitzhauben, my favorite breed!

I always love that moment when they take dust baths with their mom!

This was Sweety's first clutch of chicks and she was super nervous about having them out of the run. It was their first dust bath outside the run so it was really special.
