Hi khable, Thank you for putting that in there about the size and only if they go into roost and nest. Because I was wondering if ours was to small. Ours have plenty of area to roam and that is what they do go into roost and nest. So I feel better, we have 1 rooster and nine hens. The hens are about 6 months old. They are laying pretty well too, I started marking on the calender how many eggs a day. Because soon I am going to need to put up a sign eggs for sale

Hi Kim,

It's entirely possible that I made up that 2 ft square number.

I feel like I read it somewhere, but I've been reading so much these days that who knows where I'm getting my info!
