The only reason I did any decorating was because we already had the paint.....and since I'm retired, I have the time....and I just like the looks of it better than the plain old beige walls. Yes I am planning to brood my chicks in the coop, it's insulated and we have the heat lamp out there, I hope it will work out. Since these are our first chicks I don't have the issue of keeping them seperate from adult birds, so it should be fine. I'll be sure to update you all as things proceed. Wish me luck
