I am looking for ideas for a new space to keep separate flocks together. the layers, the friendlies, the silkies and someday meaties.

will it be enclosed?
will you have a sick bay or brooder incorporated?
A Run? covered or uncovered?
How many chickens do you have or are you planning for?
will it have a separate breeding pen?

Why 3 stalls?

I am gonna build a small sic bay also.I have a brood coop already and 3stalls is for my diff.breeds but for now gonna leave it open no stalls.I am gonna put fencing over the part where you see the plastic.this is my first couple coops I have built

That is the best way to do it I have been loving my chickens for 5 years now and they are my joy
Easier to care for and less picky eaters than the dogs cats or children I have

Not super pics of currant coop but it has been a great place for them for 5 years now. It is 10 x 10 coop attached to an 8x24 run.

This next one we bought as a grow out pen.

This is a pic of my ladies meeting the babies we got for my granddaughter
Since we live in Texas DH wants to build something suited more for our summers. so he is looking at 3 sided coops instead of a full enclosure. and I want to be able to keep them separate. and have one space with all my Ladies ( and a couple Gents)
