Hey guys!
This is just something fun I'm doing, and It's not like it's professional, but I've been designing coops!!
I've made a few so far, and they're pretty good.
Want me to design you one?
Just comment telling me a few simple things you want, weather it's a tractor or a coop with a yard.
I won't put all the materials you need, or stuff like that
. But I'll do my best to make it where if you decide to build it, you can make some good educated guesses on what you need.
So just tell me:
The number of chickens
The purpose of the coop (Meat birds, layers, etc)
If you want a run/yard with the plans
If it's hens or roosters or both, and if you want them in the same coop but separate
The kind of coop. Coop with a yard, a yardless coop, a tracter, etc etc.

Yep! And it's free. Just something to do, for me and you!
(That rhymed...:))
Drop a comment... like it's hot! :)

I'll bite!

3-7 hens with one rooster together
primarily meat but we'll be using a dual purpose breed so they can brood it for us
yardless movable coop (We'd like to move it at least twice a year)

Also, we live in northern New England since that might make a difference for ventilation needs.

Have fun!

Will do!
I always think meat birds are sad, so offence. xD. But I'll get right to it! :)

Of course I can. Just remeber, this is like a suggestive-blue print, it's to leave some up to you, but sure. Of course I will. This one might be in sections though. Like, multiple blueprints. :)

Here's yours. And btw, I meant NO offence, sorry if you.. took that to offence... Anyway, I hope this suits your beeds, if you like it and decide to build it, show me it in all of it's glory! For: Del

Here's yours! Sorry, I don't tend to sketch the insides of the coop. That's one thing you'll have to do, since it's just the joy of chicken ranching :). Ok, this takes some explanation into the method of my madness. As you can see on the left, there's the front view minus the yard. The bar running through the middle wouldn't show, it's where you divide on the inside of your coop. You'd just make wireing from the front to the back. I can draw that if you want, but just look at the yard sketch. It'll be like that.
Now the yard. The boxes that are there are the ramps that lead down, by the way. Anyways, The gate to enter the yard is on the BABY chick side, as an important rule to chicken ranching is to tend to your chicks first. then there is another leading from the baby yard to the mature bird yard. that saves you from getting 3 gates to just getting two. You'd just have to make sure to shut it. The boxes on the back of the yard sketch is the nesting/broody boxes, I guess you could use either one. Well, this is just kind of a rough draft. I hope you like it, and you (of course) can adjust it to fit your needs that werent covered. Thanks for your order!

Thanks!

No offense taken, I knew what you meant too. Birds bred just for meat are kinda sad which is one of many reasons why we'll end up with some kind of dual purpose likely heritage breed. I think they'll have a pretty good life with us.
