coop,deville

It looks great! I'm curious about the PVC pipe on the ceiling. What is its function?

the cable that opens the door in the back runs through it. I have a hook on the front and i just pull the cable to open or close the door from the front.i am building the run off the back and this lets me open the door easy and keep the chickens from the cable.

Awesome coop. I may have to copy it.

I would recommend that you get yourself a large hanging feeder instead of that little one. It will run you about 35 bills, but you will probably only have to fill it once per week with 6 chickens.

Very nice! Congratulations.

Ty,I have a 12 lb hanging feeder and a 3 gal hanging waterer to put in it but i left them at my folks house and every time i visit them i forget to get them. The plan is to hang the main feeder and waterer under the coop and have small ones inside for the night time.I am going to run wire around the bottom ov the coop with a door in the front for feed /water changes.and have a 8ft x 10ft run off the back.

I have about $250 in it but i had most of the stuff to build it with.If u had to go out and buy all the stuff it would be in the $400 to $500 range.if u had to have someone build it, it would probably be in the $1200 to $1500 range.I built it in 2 LOOOOOONNNNNNGGGG days.but it took about a week to get it this far (work got in the way).I primed it inside and out and then got the paint at homedepot.the inside paint was oops paint for $5 a gal thats why its a light green color.
