Coop Divider Build?

I see you are from La Crosse. I'm from La Crosse too. :) Here is a picture of my setup which is divided to separate colors. I have metal gates dividing the inside the coop, and a 3-4 foot fence with metal posts dividing the run. It works pretty good and is for the most part easy to clean.

You may want to think about adding on. That's what I did. That way you get two doors and you can separate much easier. Or as another person said, get another coop.

I had a similar situation. I built another coop and divided my run. The new 3ft x 3ft coop was almost free (made from a discarded hot tub surround). I divided my run using horse fencing I had in my garage. The big girls still have about 150 sq ft of run. The bantams have about 40 sq ft.

Here are some pics. First, the divided run:

Then the new coop in the divided run:

Not sure what the best use of your space will be, but FYI, we did divide our 8 x 16 coop into one 8 x 6 guinea fowl section and one 8 x 10 chicken section. We have a walk through gate between the two sections. The guinea section turned out to be too small, so we are making them a new coop.
How do people pass through this chicken wire divider you made? Do you have more pictures I could study? I need to section off a portion of my shed and I think this an idea I could use!

I can’t find a finished picture right now, but here it comes a with the framing. I put a door n the center where it is framed, then filled the sides in with hardware cloth.
