Hi!!!
My coop is finally done and pretty proud of how I did!
Chickens go out tomorrow and as I make sure all little final things are finalized I wanted to ask the backyard chicken community if there is anything else I am missing.
The nesting boxes will go up in the next couple of weeks as they have a while until they start laying.
1. Hardwire cloth underneath the chicken run (far enough down they won’t hurt if digging), on the top underneath the roof, all small wholes covered, and ramped around the shed!
2. Added more ventilation. It feels a lot better in there. Bedding will be put down before they go in.
I feel really good about it safety wise but we do have a lot of fisher cats in the area and I wanted to be 100% before I put them in!
I thought I could add a video so I am sorry if the pictures are blurry they are taken from the walk through video I did.
I also have total of six chickens
!
Thank youuuuu!
