Coop door, open or closed?

My little coop has a door to close where the girls sleep. Should I close the door at night or leave it open so when they wake up they can go down the ladder and into their run?

If their run is TOTALLY SECURE, you could leave pop door open. If you would post pix of run, then peeps here could make a better informed decision.
If you are new at chicken keeping, possibly your run is not as secure as it should be.
My suggestion would be to close chicken door for now.
