Coop door

I will be building my first coop soon. I have a question if I build a very secure run, top ,bottom, and under ground and attached to the coop. will the chicken door still have to be closed at night?

if you build it secure enough then you could probably leave it open. Its just a risk you'll have to decide if you choose too leave it open. Since theres always Murphy's Law (If something could go wrong it usually will)
