They seem happy, and I'm glad to have them out of my garage. It was developing an "odor".
We are planting the garden on Saturday, if we get done, I'm going to tackle the run. Chicks are only about 5 weeks old, so I have a little time. I'm actually having a contractor fence my back yard and wooded area ( about 3/4 of an acre) starting today ( Spending my economic stimulus check before it comes) I'm looking forward to letting them free range some when it is finished, and they get older. I'll probabaly only do that when I'm home, because I had a young red tailed hawk land in a tree above the coop while I was building it. It almost seemed like he knew what I was doing.
Thinking about getting a couple of Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats. I grew up on goats milk, and I would like my daughter to appreciate where our food comes from.
