Hello from Wyoming,MI!

I don't have any chickens yet but I have hopes/plans for the future. The quicker the better! Ordinances are what's holding me back but things might be looking up! So, I'll probably be hanging out on those boards trying to learn how to jump through all these hoops.

Yes, welcome to BYC!

You will find pretty much all you need to know and more about coop design and materials to use. One very important piece of info I've learned on here from others is to stay away from chicken wire if you're trying to keep predators out. I went with hardware cloth over chicken coop windows and for their outdoor run. It's very sturdy and keeps our two dogs (and whatever else) from getting in.
