looks good !!!!

Hi Garden State. I love your coop and run. I'm regretting not getting the wheels because I'm not sure how to move it to the back yard. But now that we have the coop, we love it. It's very solid, well-built and worth the wait. I like looking in on the girls through the vents too. They seem so happy in their new home. Chickens are the best.

Great Coop!! Looks cute and well built. One thing I would have changed, I would have put the 2x4s on their side. More comfortable for the hens to sit and keep their feet warm.

THESE ARE AWESOME.........I FEEL THEY ARE TOO SMALL .........I asked hubby to make me one, and I need a 10by 10 barn type, cause I know I need many more hens...........just as much work for 5 as for 25. costs more though

It is kinda small, but we have a small flock, just two right now. We're going to get two more in the spring. And I think the max for that coop is 6. The roof is insulated and the walls have two layers of wood so it should be plenty warm for them in the winter. The narrow side of the 2x4's seem fine for our hens as a roost. They don't hang out much in the coop as we let them free range during the day. And at night they like to sleep on a shelf that I added.
