well, just the decorating is left to do. But the girls are finally in. The cement pillars will stay on the other side of the coop but we're going to replace the ones on the front side with a solid row of flower boxes.
above - actually is bigger than it looks. We thought the protective gargoyle was a nice touch.

I've heard people talking about having to put their chickens on the roost but this was not our case. The slick, linoleum floor sort of startled them, so, within the first five minutes they were climbing up the ramps. Within 10 minutes, they were all on the roost. Surprising to me because up to this point....they haven't had a roost.
