Coop for blind chicken

I hope Radar does well. I had one from my last hatch that was missing his eyes, but he was also missing his upper beak completely, so I put him out of his misery. But if it had just been one or the other I would have given him a shot. Good luck!

I am in the midst of drawing up some plans

I'd like to house him on the ground so he can get the enrichment that it provides, even if he doesn't know the difference, I will be happier with him living as normal as possible, and if I house a companion with him I wouldn't want them to live abnormally either.

Dad and I just built new dog houses for the pups, and the design we came up with would probably work for him and a friend or two. The roof has hinges on it so I can lift it to clean it out and refill with straw, I was thinking a bit larger the dog one's are something like 3'x4.5-5'x3.5', so I would make it a bit wider, and possibly a little taller. I figure i would only need a small 1 quart waterer and feeder, and refill daily. He/she may begin to roost, so I will put a low roost in there, and a nest box just. I'm not sure where or how big the run will be yet, but i will figure it out soon enough.

I have been letting him mingle with his siblings, I had to split the brooder to separate the newly hatched guineas so their side is half of what it used to be and will be easier to find things in there for him. Depending on how they do together, one of them may wind up being his forever coop mate, or i will go buy a silkie or some other bantam for a buddy. We will see.
He is going up and down with his progress, one minute he is eating and drinking on his own, the next he is all alone in the corner peeping his little head off. He weighs 1.1oz, his siblings are 1.6 and 1.7oz.
