Recurring Dreams

I have 2 recurring dreams ..for many years, they come once in awhile

1. I was walking on this street, houses both side are tall and big and they are all on fire, there is no people insight, just me walking on the street looking at them, and it was not even hot in with such fire.

In my dream, I know that I have had this dream before, I have been here before. I think it might be reflecting the world around in life.

2. Dreams of chicken's big adorable eyes looking at me sadly, this is before I have chickens. This went on for many years and I got chickens and stop eating chickens, I don't have that dream so far since I have chickens which is 7/8 years now.

Probably 90% of more of my dreams involve hiding from something/someone, running from something/someone and then being caught and dragged on the ground, or where I am in the woods and boating in a pond...I don't know the context but my dreams often follow that theme. The rest are miscellanious (I know I spelled that wrong omg) I used to volunteer at an animal shelter and I often get the same dreams of visiting the shelter, but it looks vastly different from the actual place, and they have weird animals like sheep One strange one was a cartoony-dragon who was the captain of a cruise ship...

Without saying your age..do you think it might be age related?

When I was young I had dreams being chase a lot. I was shy, nervous and not a talker. As I got older, I grew out of that, I don't have those dreams anymore. I reflect many years later and ..of course I think I had grew out of my younger self.

I also have a weird dream that I’m trying to get in a vehicle, and it turns into fabric, with zippers.

"Zipper in, kids! It's the law."

Without saying your age..do you think it might be age related?

When I was young I had dreams being chase a lot. I was shy, nervous and not a talker. As I got older, I grew out of that, I don't have those dreams anymore. I reflect many years later and ..of course I think I had grew out of my younger self.

I don't think so, I think possibly because I'm afraid of creepy things, especially being kidnapped....XD..I feel like these dreams are my brain's way of freaking me out. I have a feeling that I will always have these dreams. I am a bit shy towards people...I am definitely much more of an animal person iykyk.

LMAO I never really watch horror movies...The scariest I have watched are IT, Alien, and The Thing, which honestly were not too too bad..But don't even get me started on The Mist. That wasn't even really scary. Just extremely traumatizing. If you've watched it before, to the very end, you definitely know what I'm talking about!! What a plot twist that was. Holy cow.

I guess I feel pretty lucky to still have all my teeth when I wake up!

I've seen it. I wouldn't recommend it to sensitive viewers. Profoundly sad, but I did appreciate the twist!

I typically don't remember my dreams, but I do remember rather often having dreams that somehow morph into my chanting a part of the Orthodox Divine Liturgy and accidentally also chanting the priest's part (which you aren't really supposed to do, lol, and in my dreams I'll admonish myself for it), or which end in me just saying the Jesus Prayer over and over ("Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.") and crossing myself with the intent to protect myself from something, either a physical or spiritual threat. I've even found myself chanting in Greek (we go to a Greek church). I'll wake up and double check the words in my dream with what I know I do know, and am often surprised to find that the Greek was correct. I don't know Greek, I just hear it at certain points of the Liturgy.
I suppose it makes sense, since I have these dreams mostly when I am being especially diligent about my spiritual life, and since I do make it a strong point to turn to God in general for physical and spiritual comfort.
I rarely remember or even have dreams of other sorts.
