Coop for Silkies

What kind of heat do you have

I have a heat lamp in my Coop...
I run it over my water bowl and definitely not room temperature in my Coop ..

My silkies prefer hopping up steps rather than using the ramp to get into the coop. They also prefer to roost on the edge of the poop board or sit on the poop board next to the edge rather than getting on the roosts with everyone else.
Also keep in mind they don’t tolerate heat or cold as well as normal feathered birds.
