Well I don't have any birds yet but we have started working on the coop. Kind of a work in progress project. We decided to use an old vacant stall since it already had a metal roof. We have a lot of PT 2x6 lumber salvaged from a porch that we disassembled and a few pieces of 3/4" plywood. I will post more pix as we progress. First I need to find out the correct way to post pictures.

Let me know if my pictures don't show........I'm new at this stuff too.

The pics look great. Looks like you are off to a good start! Keep us posted!

Great start. I love the use of the lumber. I wish I had a bunch of lumber to use for building. It gives it unique look. I like that. Keep us posted on the progress.

It's such a great accomplishment when your done. I built mine from scrap lumber, never built anything in my life but I just love how it turned out and feel proud that I built something I feel came out great. Keep up the great job. Looks good

That will be an outstanding coop! Wish I had started with something similar. The roof makes all the difference IMHO. Good luck and let us see the finished product as well as the occupants!

I'm in the process of expanding and building my permanent setup with a similar roof. The roof makes all the difference.
