Coop in the summer?

Yea I really didn't think about the fact that there is no ventilation or windows to open or close in winter. Its all insulated on the inside except for the roof, open beams. Neither me or my husband are very good at carpentry but we can hack things and make them look OK. We are a bit intimidated to put windows in but if I find them cheap enough we can muster up the will to do it. I think windows would make it super cute.

Heck that building was at least 4k to build with a cement floor and insulated even if it was on the property when we bought it pretty nice chicken coop. I have the chicks out there already with their heat lamp.
