Coop is almost done. Couple questions.

The 10 x 10 shed conversion is almost complete. I painted the interior, installed 4 windows and the linoleum floor this weekend. The first 6 hens will be in by the end of the week. My questions are these. There is a big willow tree that hangs over the area that will be the run. Is this a problem? Also I want to get the coop up on blocks. It is just sitting on 2 4x6's now. How high should I put it?

The willow will probably be good for shade to keep the coop cooler. It also is protection from hawks.

The shed can be any distance from the ground just make sure that you protect around it for preditors that my try to dig under
