I haven't stopped chuckling over this, but I'm happy to report, I've got all my cuts done and half the framing together, and it only cost me half a day, a few benadryl (seasonal allergies are kicking my butt), and a beer (or two, but don't tell the spouse).

Hmm. If you were closer, I could send my Speckled Sussex, Bronwyn, as a construction assistant. She loves to help with everything I do -- and by help, I mean scratch around and un-pile whatever I've just shoveled or raked up; stick her head under anything I've lifted up; and walk directly in my path or under my feet.
