coop looks like a 2 year old egg hunt! LOL

Another thought - if they're laying in the same spot on the ground, put a nesting box there. Once hey're used to laying in the box, you can move it - just a little bit at a time (maybe 6 inches a day, moving it back a step if they stop laying in it) to the place you want them to lay. It takes time, but it worked for one of my goofy girls.
I wish this was the fact, but they are again like a egg hunt! LOL all over the coop floor, which I think is a good thing cuz it's clean enough to be a nest :)

Wish they did....they are all over the coop floor ughhhh,....LOL

When I was a kid, our favorite little banty would somehow sneak into the house - at least two-to-three times a week - and lay her egg in between my parents' pillows. Talk about delivering Breakfast in Bed!
That is hilarious! My 2 youngest granddaughters are always are always leaving the doors open when they come in (and out and in and out...). I hope I never get breakfast in bed! My chickens love to stand at the back sliding door!

Going to try to put golf balls back in the other nests....whatcha all think?
Yeppers.
But....new layers are goofy...can take up to a month or so for things to smooth out.
How many nests do you have?
Are they easy to get into?
Pics might help spot any issues.
Surely you've been thru this before....within the last 12 years?
