I have a coop that has heavy duty chicken wire on the sides and floor. The coop is raised above group about 8 inches and I have oil pans underneath to catch the poop. I am thinking of putting plywood on the bottom of the coop so I can put shavings or straw. I was thinking this might be cleaner than what I have. I live in the City and would like to keep it as clean as I can. Any thoughts from anyone?

Thnx!
