We LOVE Hedwig, she is so pretty! My oldest son really really wanted a pet owl when he read the first book. Glad I could finally satisfy them a little bit...My older son named the blue cochin Eroll after the weasley owl in book 2. Have decided that we will build another small coop this winter and get some baby cochin bantams next spring. More Potter theme most likely since my youngest is reading the first book now. And, my 8 yr old showed me how he tells the BA's apart, they have different patterns on their beaks, as far as how far up the beak the black is. Leave it to a kid to be more observant than mom. I am now afflicted with chicken math....
