yea I wasn’t gunna put the pavers over the cloth, I figured as much that they might just dig right there. I was sorta thinking after I got the coop on pavers to dig around the coop about 6-12 inches down and bury 2x4 around the perimeter with the cloth going to that. Then from the new legs down and out id skirt it out (now at least a foot). Can I use this chicken wire I have FOR ANYTHING?? Lol seems like such a waste! I wish they would call it something else so they don’t trick the noobs like me into thinking it’s enough lol!

I use it to protect fruit trees from deer.

And for internal coop dividers.

Wellll...it's called chicken wire not predator wire
1/4" & 1/2" hardware cloth is often called 'rat wire'.

Yes called chicken wire which in my eyes implies for chickens coops, very misleading, never even heard of hardware cloth until I got chickens.

I think I’m going to use what I have for the inside of their pallet run…with my luck one of them will get stuck inside the pallets or something.

Making the run today! Getting it all squared out and braced. Figuring out things as I go. Seems MUCH MORE solid than my old pvc run though!
