This is our second year with our new Coop and I still LOVE it!
This coop is cost effective and works well with my 50 hens, 2 peacocks, and 3 ducks!

Some coops are super cute, but don't look as pretty once actual chickens are living in it! We also have a ton of bald eagles in my area that are protected so we are limited in what we can do to keep our hens safe, which is how we came up with this coop idea! This coop is perfect for somebody who wants something attractive, affordable, safe, and low maintenance. I'm not a morning person so LOVE that my hens can go in and out all day without waiting for me to open/close the door for them! I'm also not restricted if I need to travel overnight somewhere, and we never loose a bird to predators getting into the coop!

Here is a Spring 2015 photo I took last week of our birds having a free run outside of the coop. We were there of course to supervise them in case any bald eagles came to visit (which they did).

I really like the run for your girls, has lots of room and toys! Log siding was a great idea :)

I just used part of my carport.

Just finished the write-up of our new coop!

Nothing especially out of the ordinary, but hopefully someone can get some inspiration or knowledge from it. I know I've gotten plenty from other people's!

Not exactly a chicken coop, but I'm sure chickens wouldn't mind living in it either.
