Coop plans and ideas!!

Flabergasted!! Yes. I've had 13 chickens for about 6 months now, plan to build our own coop as the prefab store baught ones are overpriced and to small. Just wanted some ideas on how to or where I could get some decent plans. Also the wife would like for it to be placed by the woods on our property. Is that a cool idea?? As we do have field mice and big milk and rat snakes..

No not a good idea. Woods are full of predators and everything loves to eat chickens., snakes included. Please visit the coops section above, you will find many sizes, styles, shapes etc to fit all needs. Some with step by step photos. Also please check out the predator threads for information on securing your flock.
